Wooden Utensils are a Great Substitution for Plastic Utensils
We want to replace the plastic forks in the Windward Pavilion with disposable wooden forks. Wooden forks are much more biodegradable than the plastic forks that are currently in the Pavilion and are much better for the environment in the way they are made. Wooden forks are also extremely durable, so they will be great for student use. We will be focusing this solution on the Windward Pavilion. However, there is one problem with this plan. No company that we know of makes dispensers for wooden forks. A dispenser is needed in the Pavilion to prevent cross contamination, so this is a major problem. This is why we will be making our own dispensers for the forks. |
